About Sharla

My journey in the culinary world is a blend of formal education and deep, hands-on experience. I earned my credentials in Tampa, Florida, but the foundation of my craft was built in Indiana. My experience there includes working in restaurants like 10 West, Delullo's Trattoria, Grains and Grill in Fairmount, and Catello's Italian Art Cuisine in Pendleton, allowing me to master a variety of cuisines, from authentic Italian to steaks and seafood, and down-home comfort food.
My cooking philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for local ingredients. I source most of my vegetables from Indiana, where the rich soil produces exceptionally sweet corn and vibrant tomatoes. While my meats come primarily from Florida, I also rely on Indiana Amish farms for their exceptional chicken and pork products, ensuring the highest quality in every dish.
My goal is to create an experience that turns your dining room into your favorite restaurant, blending sophisticated culinary techniques with the comforting warmth of a home-cooked meal, so you can enjoy the highest quality food right in your own home. I achieve this through versatile services, including private chef experiences, convenient meal prep, and full-service catering for everything from intimate dinners to large celebrations.
